Volfyirion is beyond every expectation!

Hey everyone!

We are at the end of this incredible adventure, wait... did we really just say that? It is unbelievable. First we launched this game and suddenly, in the blink of an eye, we found ourselves at the last day of this campaign. 

Thirty days have passed so fast and we could not be more filled with joy and gratitude towards our loyal community members! You have been there every step of the way and witnessed closely to this game's evolution! 

At first Volfyirion was just at its primary stage then it got better and better, Stretch Goal after Stretch Goal, and day after day you all helped us let it grow! Our aim was to create a game that would satisfy every type of player. That is why we chose to have so many player modes added with the Stretch Goals. 

The final game is really stunning, thus, feeling your appreciation is the best reward and we could not possibly ask for more!

In addition we would like to share with you the final version of Jakub's artwork! Travis created a masterpiece as always! 

Jakub seems so proficient with his Qoam manipulation that he's able to use in combat two Qoam-arms and swords, that's really cool!

Late Pledge is already live!

The Late Pledge is live on BackerKit right now! This will allow everyone who missed the campaign to get a copy of the game at the standard Retail Price. It will be open until production ends and it will help us to avoid overstocking.

The Post Campaign Survey will instead come in the upcoming weeks!

The journey is coming to its pinnacle

Hey everyone! 

Feels like yesterday that we launched Volfyirion and since the beginning we had lots of positive vibes from all of our incoming backers! For this reason we decided to reward you all with a final gift now that all SGs are unlocked!

Last Day Stretch Goal!

In these past days you have been giving us tons of ideas and suggestions about new game modes and cards! Your excitement is really amazing and we can see your creativity flow both on the comments sections and BGG.

While we were reading your suggestions and ideas, we realized that we should offer you a way to experience all these new ideas and play with them all. We think that the best way to do this is to give you the tools to modify the game adding as many custom rules as you please.

We are extremely excited to announce that our final Stretch Goal for this campaign will be custom rules support! 

We want to keep the creativity flowing and so we decided to offer plenty of ways to enhance your Volfyirion experience along with the rest of the community. 

The first thing we want to give you are two new cards added to the deck: the Continuum Cards will be two blank cards that will allow you to create your own cards and values!

You will all be able to share custom rules to the rest of the community and to give everyone a chance to play with them!

You will just have to head to our Community Workshop on BGG to share your creations. Or if you just want to play, you will be able to read all the custom community rules shared by others. Then you can choose your favorite and add them to your game.

This way we can ensure that Volfyirion will have endless replay value, being able to constantly evolve driven by the community!

After the campaign ends we will read all your rules in the Community Workshop on BGG and we will reward the two most interesting ones with our special Tabula Award, meaning that we will thoroughly playtest them and officially endorse as one of the best way to use the Continuum Cards!

And this is not all! The two winning rules will also be featured on the Official App, this way everyone that gets the game will be able to use the two blank cards right away without having to head to the Community Workshop!

We will also share the template for the Continuum Card, we know that many of you are highly creative individuals and maybe you will need more than two cards for your custom rules! This way you can print as many as your amazing new rules will require!

Furthermore, we will also share with you a PSD file for the template, with selectable artworks and layout that will fit your new rules. 

Tech-savvy users will have no problem designing cards for their rules that will feel right at home with the rest of the deck!

Thanks to your help and thanks to all the Stretch Goals unlocked, we upgraded Volfyirion to become a game even better that what we envisioned at the beginning. Now it is your turn to make it even more wonderful with all these tools we are giving you!

More translations!

More languages are coming, thank you to Martin Hellwich, and Carsten Pettan for translating the rulebook in German! Great job, guys! Below you can find the link:

Moreover, our backer Roy Amir-Shaul will translate the rulebook in Hebrew, Данаил Гечев will do the Bulgarian translation and Filipa Tato will take care of the Portuguese translation! We are so overwhelmed with joy for these translations that we will reward all of our community translators by reserving them a special spot in the printed rulebook!

Stretch Goals unlocked and a great surprise for the final days!

Almost at the end!

Hello everyone!

We cannot believe that we are just 48 hours away from the end of our campaign. Volfyirion is growing and getting perfect and we have to thank our amazing backers for this!

Stretch Goals unlocked!

We managed to unlock two additional Perk Cards! The total amount per deck is now four and with this type of cards players will be offered even more options to play!

Earlier we also unlocked a new card type: Ploy Cards! As we stated in yesterday's update, one of these three cards was inspired by a backer. Before the game starts a Ploy Card is randomly drafted face down by each player. Once a certain set of conditions is met, that card may be revealed and its effect applied. 

Let's talk about Qoam Instability: whenever three Buildings are in play at the same time they all get destroyed by this catastrophic card! 

This was just a sneak peek, play testing is still ongoing and we want to perfectly balance everything out before releasing further details! 

Perk Cards and Ploy Cards are our answer to our community request for more asymmetry in Volfyirion and we are thrilled to have been able to implement it in the game!

Swedish Translation

A special thanks goes to our backers Laurent and Dusanka for proposing to translate Volfyirion rulebook in Swedish! As soon as we have their translation we will share it with all of you!

Last Day Stretch Goal!  

All the stretch goals have been revealed and soon we will unlock our final SG. We can consider Volfyirion complete with everything we could ever wish for! The game was shaped and evolved with the help of this wonderful community and we are extremely happy we added so much to the already awesome base game!!

Yet we have another ace up our sleeves! Tomorrow we will reveal an additional and last special stretch goal and it is going to be a reward for all of our community members! 

This Stretch Goal will be a gift from us, it will be automatically revealed and unlocked in the last 24 hours of Volfyirion's campaign!

A New Collaboration!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our new backers who joined this adventure! Today is a day filled with wonderful news (shocker, huh?) :)

We are always working hard to give more depth to the universe of Mysthea and today we have a big announcement to make. We reached an agreement with UFO Press, a publisher specialized in the creation of wonderful tabletop RPGs. 

They have already run several Kickstarter campaigns before, you can go check out their most successful project "Legacy: Life Among the Ruins" to have an idea of the quality of their works. 

We decided to collaborate with UFO Press to create together an amazing tabletop RPG set in the world of Mysthea! In the RPG it will be possible to create your own characters and also to manage Guilds, creating new layers of gameplay unique to their RPG system!

Since we love our community and appreciate the commitment you all are showing in the expansion of Mysthea lore, we want our backers to step in! In order to show our appreciation to you, we would like to have one of your creations to become a character or even a class of this upcoming RPG of Mysthea! 

In order to suggest your character or class, we are asking you to click this topic on Board Game Geek Volfyirion’s forum where you explain your character and their background or a class you think might fit this world, as some of you already did! Afterwards, give a thumbs up on the comments you prefer. Thus, the judges will be our backers and our friends at UFO press.

We are very thrilled to have reached this agreement which allows us to expand the universe of Mysthea and to create and evolve even more this eerie world which inspired us, Travis, and all of our community members as well!

Stretch Goal Unlocked

Many of you requested us to boost the asymmetry of the game and for this reason we created the Perk Cards that are now unlocked!

Players will be able to choose (or to randomly choose) an ongoing ability for their House. They will benefit from such perk each turn, as these cards cannot be removed by the opponent. 

We are still testing various mechanics, but we can tell a bit of one card: the Anomaly Collider! The player who owns it can decide to Seal one of their Wonder Cards in play to immediately gain Knowledge Points equal to the Wonder Card cost.

We received the artwork of Freddy from Travis! He did an amazing job as always and we are very happy to share it with all of you!

4th week winner and 1 more translation!

And now we will announce the Fourth Weekly Reward!

Volfyirion is the most backed game in Italy and Unlocked Stretch Goals!

Most Backed Italian Game!

Hey everyone!

We reached 6200 backers and we are proud to announce that with this project Tabula Games has the highest number of backers in the history of Italian Kickstarter Game projects! 

It is a huge milestone and a true honor for us. We must say that we could not have done it without our awesome community members, so once again, thank you!

Last Social Stretch Goal unlocked!

Next, we finally hit the last Social Stretch Goal! You managed to spread the word of our precious Volfyirion and now we will have the chance to implement the Detachable Qoam Crystals in the card game.

These five little crystals will be placed at the base of every Volfyirion miniature and our Game Designers will work hard to implement them in order to give more depth to the game experience. Their main focus for this mechanic will be the 1 vs 1 and, if possible, they will work on the Solo mode as well.

The rules will be shared with every backer, this way if you only have the Card Game you will still be able to enjoy these new rules using any marker of your choice in place of the Qoam Crystals.

Three Additional Wonder Cards!

Now let's talk about new unlocked stretch goals: our favorite subject! :) 

We managed to unlock three additional Wonder Cards with new original artworks, so all the decks will be enriched of new amazing art! Our faithful Travis provided for it!

Two More Wonder Cards with new rules!

Another cool Stretch Goal we hit concerns Two Additional Wonder Cards with new rules! These cards peculiarity is that they can change their owner and only the most devoted player will be able to start the ascension path.

Spot UV for all the boxes!  

Then, a great upgrade for the box that many of our backers asked for! As a matter of fact, who wouldn't want to have this kind of box for their Card Game?

The Spot UV will give your box a smooth feeling to the touch and a more premium look as well! We love it and we are extremely happy that we have unlocked it!

Fourth Week Winner Announcement will come sooner!

We will announce the Fourth Week Winner on Monday instead of waiting until Wednesday! That is because Thursday the 15th at 18:00 CET will be the last day of this campaign (that was hard to type in, seriously). Thus it won't be possible to change the campaign page anymore from that day on. 

Considering the time to collect the photo, forward it to Travis and the time for him to create an artwork based on that photo, it would not be feasible to announce it the day before the end of the campaign.
